Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi City Tour
Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi downtown. Join a city tour to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology, one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi. The rest of the day is for free. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (B, L)
This morning, take a shuttle bus to Halong Bay. On the half way, stop to visit crafts workshops with many marble stone sculptures, plaque paintings and hand-embroidered items. Upon arrival, get on the cruise and enjoy a hearty lunch while the ship sails through hundreds of magnificent limestone islands and islets including Cho Da (Stone Dog), Lu Huong (Incense Burner), Ba Hang Fishing Village and Ngon Tay (Fingers) Islets. Stop to visit “Ga Choi” or “Fighting Cock” Island – the symbol of Halong for a few minutes and Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto). Return to Halong pier and drive back to Hanoi. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Sapa Free (B)
In the early morning, transfer from Hanoi to Sapa which is the homeland of many ethnic groups such as H’mong, Dzao and Tay. Arrive in Sapa at noon. After check in your hotel, you will be free to explore the town. Meals are on your own and overnight in Sapa.
Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B, L)
Today, you will join a full morning trek to the first destination, Y Linh Ho. From there, you will trek through rice terraces and follow Muong Hoa Stream to reach Lao Chai village, the main residential area of Black H’mong village and continue to trek about 9 km for 4 hours to reach Ta Van village, home to Dzay ethnic group. Pick up at Ta Van Bridge to back to the town. Free in the afternoon. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Sapa.
Sapa – Local Market (Depending On The Day Of The Week) – Lao Cai – Train Back to Hanoi (B, L)
Early morning, participate in the vibrant atmosphere of the local market, full of stalls displaying hand-crafted products peddled by people from various hill tribes. Lunch included. Dinner is on your own. Transfer to Lao Cai train station in Lao Cai City for night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Hanoi Arrival – Flight to Hue – City Tour
Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning, you will be picked up and transferred directly to the airport for your flight to Hue. From there, start an excellent city tour to the Ancient Citadel containing the former Imperial Palace which is similar to the Forbidden City in Beijing and Tu Duc Tomb. Meals on your own and overnight in Hue.
Hue City – Drive to Hoi An (B, L)
Today, you will get on a cruise to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – the symbol of Hue and Minh Mang Tomb. After lunch, leave Hue for Hoian via Danang by our driver only. Stop by Lang Co beach and Hai Van pass on the way to capture breathtaking natural views. Check in your hotel and enjoy free time in Hoian. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hoian.
Hoian Free Day (B)
Free day in Hoian for beach vacation or discover the ancient town on your own. Meals are free and overnight in Hoian.
Hoi An – Danang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City– Sightseeing (B)
Start off your day with a flight to Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam. Capture all highlights of Saigon with visits to the Reunification Palace, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Museum and Ben Thanh Market where you can try bargaining like locals and buy interesting souvenirs. Meals are on your own and overnight in Saigon.
Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
This morning, you will visit the Great Holy See Temple, built in 1926 which is considered one of the most striking structures in South-East Asia. Try a fantastic fresh experience of attending the midday ceremony to observe the daily mass held by the Cao Dai followers. Lunch included. Continue to visit Cu Chi tunnel, a crucial site for Viet Cong to hide during Vietnam War which is famous for its over 200km network of tunnels. Back to Saigon for your free evening. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Saigon.
Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Can Tho (B, L)
In the morning, at 08:00 AM, transfer from your hotel to Cai Be. Upon arrival at 10:30, get on a boat for a journey through the town’s floating market for a glimpse of local’s lives on water and their trading activities with merchant ship. Continue to sail to the island where you can enjoy seasonal fruits before heading to Vinh Long and get back on the car to Can Tho. Dinner on your own and overnight in Can Tho.
Can Tho – Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B, L)
Join a morning boat to Cai Rang floating market to experience one of the biggest markets on the river where all trading activities are on the water in the lower part of the Mekong. Our van will pick you up and return to Saigon. Enjoy a lunch break en route before driving to the airport for your flight home. Trip ends.
