  • Day 1

    Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho (D)

    15:45 Today, you will embark on the luxury Toum Tiou cruise at Saigon Port (Cang Nha Rong Port) next to Ho Chi Minh Museum (Address: #5 nguyen tat thanh, quan 4.)

    16:00 Clearance of departure formalities

    16:30 The cruise starts sailing towards My Tho while a security briefing is given

    19:00 Enjoy welcome drink and listen to info meeting about cruise, crew introduction. Dinner and overnight on board

  • Day 2

    My Tho – Cai Be – Vinh Long (B, L, D)

    Departure of the Toum Tiou early in the morning

    07:00 Breakfast will be served while the cruise navigates on the marvelous canal of Cho Gao

    10:00 Upon arrival at My Tho. Drop anchor on river next to Thoi Son Island.

    My Tho is endowed with a warm and pleasant climate all year round making one of the most desirable tourist spots in Vietnam with luxuriant gardens of coconut palms, banana and mango trees. You will be transferred to the mainland by other local boats waiting alongside Toum Tiou.

    Your destinations today include a short panoramic tour of My Tho town, Vinh Trang pagoda and My Tho market. Return to the pier, our local boat will continue to take you to Dragon Island where you can explore local people’s daily life and enjoy locally seasonal fruits.

    12:00 Re-embark on Toum Tiou cruise and leave My Tho for Cai Be. Lunch and leisure on board.

    15:30 Upon arrival, drop anchor at Cai be. Our local boats take you around Cai Be floating market where you can visit the handicraft village and witness rice paper, rice wine and popped rice traditional making process. Continue to visit Vinh long - a brick and pottery factory, the Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet Nursery of Fruit Trees as well as a typical house and a show room of traditional farming tools.

    18:00 Return to the Toum Tiou cruise and sail to Sa Dec

    19:30 Arrive at Sa Dec. Drop anchor on the river. Dinner and overnight on board

  • Day 3

    Sa Dec – Chau Doc (B, L, D)

    06:00 Enjoy breakfast

    07:00 Today, we will take you on a short panoramic tour to Trung Vuong primary school, followed by a visit of Kien An Cung pagoda. Continue to wander Sa Dec market along Sa Dec river bank. This small city is home to 30000 inhabitants and features unspoiled authenticity and undisturbed by tourists. Coming there, you will be given the closest look into the colonial houses on the delta including the “Chinaman’s house” (from Duras' novel "The Lover", also made into a movie).

    09:00 Re-embark Toum Tiou for Chau Doc. Lunch will be served on board. Enjoy your leisure time on board.

    16:00 Upon arrival, departure for fish raising rafts

    If we have enough time, enjoy sunset from Sam Mountain which peaks at 237 meters. The mountain is well-known for its Buddhist sanctuaries. From there, you can capture uninterrupted view over the mosaic of glistening rice paddies below. To the left is Cambodia, the flow of the Mekong on the horizon breaks into an infinity of silver ribbons. Stop by the Lady Chua Xu temple and Tay An Pagoda, two of the most popular tourist sites in the region.

  • Day 4

    Vinh Xuong – Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

    Today, the cruise will leave for Vinh Xuong (Vietnamese border) in the early morning. Breakfast will be served during the navigation.

    08:00 Arrive at Vinh Xuong check-point – formalities clearance for Toum Tiou to cross the border.

    10:30 Depart from Vinh Xuong check-point to Phnom Penh. Lunch included.

    17:00 Arrive at Phnom Penh. Evening time is free for wandering around the bustling capital of Cambodia.

  • Day 5

    Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

    07:30 Breakfast

    08:30 Join a city tour to visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Wat Phnom.

    12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant awaits you

    14:00 In the afternoon, you will take a very important visit to Toul Sleng old center where severe detention, torture and execution were conducted between 1975 and 1979. This trip helps you to understand the fatal madness perpetrated by the Khmer Rouges. Next, visit the Russian Market.

    19:00 Back to the boat and enjoy a traditional performance called “APSARA” show for 45 mins on board. Dinner and overnight on board

  • Day 6

    Phnom Penh – Kampong Tralach (B, L, D)

    07:00 Breakfast

    09:00 Balance of the day free exploration on own

    11:30 Return to the boat

    12:00 Depart from Phnom Penh for transfer to Kompong Tralach. Lunch during navigation.

    15:00 Upon arrival at Kampong Tralach, take a visit to its wonderful Vihara belonging to Wat Kampong Tralach Leu pagoda. To reach the spot, we need to cross Kampong Tralach Krom village along a small road perpendicular to the river, go through some gorgeous stretches of emerald rice paddy as we leave the river behind. Erected in the middle of rice fields, the site features a modest pagoda and mostly untouched from visitors.

    18:00 Re-embark. The cruise drops anchor few miles away. Dinner and overnight on board

  • Day 7

    Kampong Chhnnang – Chnok Tru (B, L, D)

    07:00 In the early morning, the Toum Tiou sails to Kampong Chanang. Breakfast will be served during navigation.

    08:00 Reach Kampong Chnang

    The town of Kampong Chnang which is located 56 miles from Phnom Penh boats one of the largest fishing ports on the Tonle Sap. The area is well-known for fish farming practice and its pottery ware with unchanged style for centuries produced enough to supply the whole country. Specially, products from Thnot tree (sugar palm – a real national symbol) such as: a mellow tasting, caramel-colored sugar sold in large cakes and palm wine are worth trying local delicacies.

    11:39 Return to the Toum Tiou for lunch on board on the way to Chnok Tru

    16:00 Soon after reaching Chnok Tru, our local boats will come alongside the cruise and pick you for the visit. The site is unpopular to most of tourists and completely self-sufficient. All daily life activities and facilities are organized on the water. All trades are represented and everybody from children to grandparents goes by boat through the network of canals that cross this little town.

    17:00 Back to the cruise. Stay overnight close to Chnok Tru.

    19:30 Join a farewell cocktail party (1 glass of local liquor or juice) with Master of Ship & Cruise Manager.

    Captain’s farewell dinner (Enriched menu + 1 glass of wine).

  • Day 8

    Chnok Tru – Siem Reap (B)

    The cruise starts sailing early in the morning. Time to pack and relax for half a day by crossing the Tone Sap Lake.

    11:00 Arrive at Phnom Krom pier (~5 miles from Siem Reap).

    Transfer to FCC Angkor hotel, the final destination of our trip
