Hanoi City Tour (L)
Today, you will spend the whole day to explore around Hanoi. Morning destinations include the Ho Chi Minh complex (Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda) and the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam. After lunch, you will continue to visit the Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and charming Old Quarter with the highlight of Dong Xuan Market. Finally, enjoy a joyful Water Puppet Show. Dinner on your own and overnight in your hotel in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (L)
This morning, you will leave Hanoi to Halong Bay and stop by crafts workshops to take great photos of marble stone sculptures on the way. Upon arrival, get on and enjoy a delicious lunch on board. The rest of the day is to visit Cho Da (Stone Dog), Lu Huong (Incense Burner), Ba Hang Fishing Village and Ngon Tay (Fingers) Islets. Next, continue to visit visit ‘Ga Choi’ or Fighting Cock Island – the symbol of Halong and the beautiful Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto) with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the pier and Hanoi. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Mai Chau Sightseeing – Mai Chau (L, D)
This morning, you will be picked up and transfer to Mai Chau in Hoa Binh Province, which is 135km away from Hanoi. The region features main residential area of White Thai group and stunning natural landscapes. After travelling along Cun Slope, 12 km from Cao Phong district, we will reach Mai Chau Valley which offers great views of green valley and stilt houses. A traditional lunch with rice wine awaits you in a local family. After that, join a biking tour around the village. Dinner and overnight in Mai Chau (in a homestay).
Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)
Today, your morning destinations include a drive to the delightful jungle, hiking to Muong ethnic village on the beautiful plateau with the stunning view over Da River, and Xa Linh village, a home land of Mong people. Return to Mai Chau for lunch. Drive back to Hanoi. Evening time is free for you to explore Hanoi. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Sapa (L)
Early transfer from Hanoi to Sapa where is home to many ethnic groups such as H’mong, Dzao, and Tay. Arrive at noon, you will enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese and then check in your hotel. In the afternoon, start your wonderful excursion to Cat Cat village to see locals’ daily life and the Hydraulic Power Station which is built by the French. Back to your hotel and enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Sapa.
Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B, L)
Today you will visit Y Linh Ho and then trek through rice terraces and follow Muong Hoa Stream to reach Lao Chai village. This is the main place where Black H’mong people live with spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Continue to trek about 9km in 4 hours to Ta Van village, home to Dzay ethnic group. Back to the town for lunch and freely enjoy the region on your own. Dinner on your own and overnight in Sapa.
Sapa – Local Market (Depending On The Day Of The Week) – Hanoi (B, L)
Early morning, you will be taken to a local market which happens weekly with the participation of many ethnic groups. The market area is full of stalls displaying hand-crafted products peddled by people from various hill tribes. You can buy a lot of interesting things as souvenirs there. Enjoy lunch before returning to Hanoi by our driver. Drop off at your hotel. Trip ends.
