At 9:00 am, start the day tour with highlights of Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house, One-Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Take a visit to the first university - Temple of literature before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.     Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai (B, L)

    Start a hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley from the descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km). Hike along Muong Hoa River and pass stunning rice terraces on the way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continue the hike to Ta Van Giay Village, cross a small suspension bridge to discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. Enjoy lunch at a local house. In the afternoon, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. Take a quick break near a waterfall, climb uphill to a road where the car picks you up to go back to Sapa.

    Sapa - Ma Tra - Bus to Hanoi (B)

    Have breakfast before the transfer out of Sapa town to explore Ma Tra Valley. Upon arrival at the starting point, trek downhill and cross the stream to the other bank of Suoi Ho Village. Visit local houses for 30 minutes and continue the walk along the path to reach Ma Tra Village. You can admire the breathtaking scenery of the valley and terraced paddies here.
